MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY WITH AUSTRALIAN CLEANERS

Kia ora Louise,

On behalf of our 23,000 members in Aotearoa/New Zealand, we wish to extend a strong message of solidarity to United Voice and your courageous cleaners taking action today.

We are with you today as you show Spotless, all other employers,  and the Australian community that cleaners must be treated with dignity and respect and be paid what they are worth.

Your struggle is our struggle.  We know that your members are talking action for cleaners everywhere and we all benefit from their action of standing strong together.

Please convey our solidarity message to your members.

Kia kaha. Stay strong!

In solidarity,

Barbara Wyeth, National President, SFWU
John Ryall, National Secretary, SFWU
